IRS Online Account

Access individual account information including tax records, payments, and balances.

IRS Refund Status

To track your refund, you must provide your SSN or ITIN, filing status, and exact refund amount.

To track your amended return, you must provide your SSN, date of birth, and zip code.

Get an IP PIN

An identity protection PIN (IP PIN) is a six-digit number that prevents someone else from filing a tax return using your Social Security number (SSN) or individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN).
Known only to you and the IRS, it helps verify your identity when you file your electronic or paper tax return.
